THE SALVATION ARMY CENTRAL TERRITORY is Hiring a Store Manager I Near Kansas, MO

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience An associate degree in business administration, retail sales or marketing ispreferred; 2 years' experience in staff management and development or combination of education & experience.

Certifications:
Valid Driver's License. Able to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army per Salvation Army Policy
Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communicationwith customers, management and coworkers.
  • Basic computer skills including but not limited to the use of the Point of Sales System; the payrollprogram, Microsoft Office Suite and all other programs or systems that are adopted by the TSAARC.
  • Ability to give change accurately.
  • Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity.
Supervisory Responsibility:
  • Train and supervise the store staff.
  • Document and provide information requested about direct reports to Regional Manager for apersonnel review.
  • Review and approve time and attendance for store personnel using the current payroll system.
Checks time logs regularly. Following all current regulations and trainings.

Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands
and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move upto 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, andability to adjust focus.

Travel:
May be required to travel to various locations for work or training as well as monthly managementtraining.
Working Conditions:
The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. Maystand for extended periods. Full-time position; will require weekend and evening hours.
